Through the use of dark surrealism and elements of horror, I illustrated a selected series of William Butler Yeats poems reflecting my own experience with love, loss, death, life and spirituality. I considered the human experience from when these selected poems were written while recontextualising and interpreting them to suit not only my experiences but also to illjustrate them for a more contemporary and alternative audience.
